Established in 1969

​The Lost Sock Laundromat (formerly Blue Sky Laundry then Big Tree Cleaners) has been a fixture in Tahoe City since 1969.  There has been several owners over the years and upgrades to the machines.  Now Kristy and Patrick are the owners and we have already made many improvements. In October 2018, we installed a new boiler system, 4 new Top Loaders, 6 new Front Load washer, 3 new stacked dryers and 2 large single pocket commercial dryers. In November of 2021 we installed 12 top of the line touch screen washers.

Since the beginning of 2022 we have been offering a Wash, Dry and Fold service to the local region.  We love helping locals and visitors save time by doing their laundry for them.

Our Goal

To provide a bright, clean, safe and reliable environment for your laundry needs.  We are always working on improving and we are now preparing to expand our services to better serve our local communities.

We have been in the laundry business for 5 years. Patrick was born and raised here in Tahoe City and Kristy has truly fallen in love with the area since relocating here in 2015.

We're Here for You 24/7

Well, we're not; but our facilities are open 24/7.  The laundromat is open 24 hours a day.  We are there for cleaning and maintenance regularly.
